Spend the day in Bristol
Bristol is better known for its nightlife and big city activities, while Bath is more popular for its museums, historical sights and small-town charm. Bath is more touristy than Bristol and is known for its world-renowned Roman-built baths as well as its historical architecture and many museums. Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with some brilliant examples of 18th-century architecture and town planning. There are a wealth of well-preserved Roman remains such as temples and baths and its very own hot springs which is said to have healing powers. There are dozens of pretty tea rooms and cafes for a lovely lunch stop too.
Christmas in Bristol
