Our CEO, Jim Murphy, is delighted to introduce our inaugural Charity Event in aid of our nominated charity Beyond the Moon from May 30th, 2024. We have been supporting Beyond the Moon for 19 years, offering support and financial aid to make a young person’s dreams of a cost-free, worry-free family holiday come true. This very special charity event ends with our annual Charity Golf Day in Tulfarris Golf Resort on June 13th, an event that we have hosted and supported for a long time and will continue to raise funds for years in the future.

Beyond the Moon
Beyond the Moon offers families with a seriously ill child the opportunity to enjoy a memorable, cost-free vacation in a child-friendly environment and to spend carefree quality time together, far away from hospitals and treatments. Established in 2005, the charity has helped hundreds of families to take a break together, restoring energy and refreshing the batteries at what is the hardest time for families, when a child is seriously unwell. The memories that Beyond the Moon creates for families with a sick child gives hope for better times and offers a break for all family members. They aim to raise enough money to send 52 families on worry-free holidays every year, which may include medical transport and supervision if needed.
Since 2021, their secondary project ‘Paint a Smile’ has brought a colourful and lively vacation experience to the often dull, chilly rooms in hospitals through interactive 3D murals. It offers a sick child something beautiful to look at, during a hospitalisation or a consultation at the children’s hospital.

PREM Group & Beyond The Moon
Beyond the Moon charity was founded in 2005 and PREM Group has been supporting them since 2006, something we are very proud of. Every year we aim to raise as much as possible to support these families and their children in enjoying a family break, fully paid for by the charity. Over the years we have done stepathons, raffles, bake sales and so much more to raise these much-needed funds. We host an annual charity golf day, usually at Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort, asking our friends, sponsors, staff and suppliers to donate prizes and help us raise as much as possible. In 2023, PREM Group Ireland and Trinity Purchasing hosted the annual Charity Golf Event at Millicent Golf Club, Clane, Co. Kildare. We were delighted with the turnout to support such a worthy cause. We raised an incredible €17,000 between entrance fees, raffles, sponsorship and donations all of which went directly to Beyond the Moon.

Beyond The Moon Fundraising 2024
This year, our annual charity drive doesn’t stop at a golf tournament. This year, our properties will take part in a range of activities to raise more for Beyond the Moon.
Tour de PREM
Our first Tour De PREM will take place virtually in all our locations across Ireland, the UK, Belgium, and the Netherlands with volunteers from across PREM Group pledging to walk, run, cycle and swim to all 32 PREM locations, totalling 2,450km. We’re asking for sponsorship from family, friends, and local businesses to raise funds and contribute to our total donation.
Charity Hike
Volunteers from our team will hike Crone Woods – Maulin Mountain Loop, while raising funds in aid of our nominated charity, Beyond the Moon. Along the way, we will enjoy views of Powerscourt Waterfall, panoramic views into Gencree, adjacent mountains and valleys, and Dublin Bay. Charity Golf Day
Every year, we host a truly enjoyable day out full of food, drink, golf, and fundraising with friends, families, suppliers and sponsors. This year, our two-week event finale will take place on Thursday 13th June at Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort, Blessington Co. Wicklow.
