We’re looking forward to the return of Summertime Live to Newcastle and the 2022 event promises to be the best one yet. As well as fantastic music and performers, we can look forward to street entertainers, festival fashion, street food and boutique stalls and so much more. Music
The music is the main event at Summertime Live. Get ready for a live orchestra performing some of the biggest club hits of the past 3 decades in the open air, from afternoon to sunset and beyond. Urban Soul Orchestra seamlessly integrates the worlds of classical and house music. They have worked for over 25 years alongside many dance music greats, including Nightmares On Wax, Groove Armada, Ultra Naté, Octave One, Full Intention, Soul II Soul, Robert Miles, Sonique and Spiller. We’re promised a headline show from Classic Ibiza plus some chart-topping live performances still to be announced.
They’re flying in some of the world’s best DJ’s directly from the ultimate party island as well as some top UK chart House DJs from the 90s, 00s and today. Some names mentioned include Showhawk Duo hosted by Patrick Nazemi, Ibiza Rocks and Switch Disco
Festival Feeling
Aside from fantastic music, Summertime Live attendees have so much more to look forward to including glitter artists, street food stalls, live entertainers, bars the VIP Garden and more.
Summertime Live is a festival for foodies too. Every venue they host has a host of culinary delights from independent food trucks and stalls and Newcastle Racecourse is no different. They also have a fantastic bar selection. Forget warm cans of beer, you can get a gourmet gin & tonic or a bespoke cocktail make for you. You can enjoy the festival food and drink stalls dotted around the racecourse.

General admission tickets are on sale now for £32.50+£3.71 Fee & Tax. If you want exclusive access and priority entry to the event plus wristband access to The Garden with relaxed seating, premium toilets, street food and premium bars, tickets will cost £65.00+£7.42 Fee & Tax. Parking is free in the venue, but you should book in advance. If cars are staying overnight, they must be collected by 12 noon the following day – luckily PREMIER SUITES are less than 20-minutes door to door by taxi! They also have access-friendly parking for blue badge holders that does not need to be pre-booked.
Chairs and blankets are not permitted at the event. Food and drink are also not permitted into the event but there are a great variety of bars and food outlets if you need to refuel. Empty water bottles are permitted and can be filled at water filling stations around the site. Bags will be searched upon entry and bags larger than a4 size are not permitted for security reasons.
