Now that the new year has started, it’s time to get ourselves back into the swing of things. January is a great time of the year for new beginnings. You could start on a fitness journey, give up smoking or exploring parts of the city you’ve never seen before. Here are some great activities to get yourself out and active, no matter the weather!

Bray to Greystones Walk

This linear cliff walk is easily one of the highlights of the East Coast of Ireland and is perfect for beginners, letting you get your heart going but not completely tiring you out. From start to finish, the cliff walk is about 7km long and takes 2 hours to complete. Make sure you bring enough water with you as there are no stops along the way and that you have suitable footwear. The walk follows the coastline and has some of the most amazing views this side of the country. Finish off your walk with a stroll and some lunch in the scenic Greystones Village.

Ticknock

Ticknock is an area nestled in the foothills of Three Rock Mountain, just 30-minutes from the city centre and just 10 minutes by car from PREMIER SUITES. It is a great place for a hill walk with spectacular views over Dublin Bay and the city. The circular loop begins and ends in the same place so there is no need for maps, just follow the trail.
