Chocolate Nation

Chocolate Nation is the largest Belgian chocolate museum in the world and a close neighbour of PREMIER SUITES PLUS Antwerp, right beside the central station. Belgian chocolate is world-famous, and you can explore the history of chocolate within 14 themed rooms, taking between 60-90 minutes in total. The tour starts in the cocoa plantations of the equator and follows the cocoa bean to the world’s largest cocoa storage port in Antwerp. You’ll be an expert in chocolate traditions, history, brands, products, and innovations by the end of the tour.

Antwerp Ferris Wheel

Settled on the Steenplein along the Schekdt River, the Anstwerp Ferris wheel is the perfect activity to make long-lasting family memories on your trip. The wheel is not that high, so children or adults afraid of heights should not be a concern. Here you can take in the breathtaking views of the city, such as the Antwerp Harbour, Old Town, and other iconic sights. Also named De Botaniek, the Botanic Garden of Antwerp dates back as far as 1825. The garden is located in the city centre with an area of less than one hectare. Here you will witness a whole array of colours and smells as the garden has a collection of 2000 cacti and exotic plants. Take a relaxing walk here with the family and have an idyllic picnic together. The garden is open daily with free admission. However, the conservator is closed on Sundays.
