As another successful year draws to a close for PREMIER SUITES, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has chosen us as their preferred accommodation in 2022. We were delighted to accommodate guests will all sorts of needs from leisure and business stays to medical appointments and everything in between. Our team have worked tirelessly to keep up the high standards of safety, security, cleanliness and comfort that guests have come to expect from us while ensuring every stay was as seamless as possible. Here are some of the highlights of the last quarter of 2022 and plans for 2023 for PREMIER SUITES.
Reverse Advent Calendar
Each of our UK properties took part in a reverse advent calendar in December 2022. Instead of opening a door and taking a chocolate or a treat, we asked for donations to give back to the less fortunate in our local community. Guests, staff, and visitors were asked to donate non-perishable food which was passed to a worthy cause in the local community. Anything non-perishable that was left after check out by our guests was also added to this food hamper which will be much appreciated by an organisation serving the local community and people in need this Christmas.
Sustainability at PREMIER SUITES
We worked hard in 2022 to raise the bar for sustainability in our serviced apartments in all of our properties. We have implemented new processes and procedures which have made an impact on the amount of energy we use and the waste we produce. Measures vary per property but all include monitoring and managing environmental performance in our operations through ongoing environmental risk assessments. We are more conscious of the amount of waste we produce and have introduced measures to reduce single-use plastics like eliminating them from our bathrooms. All waste is disposed of responsibly and we monitor and reduce our carbon footprint with ongoing reviews.
We welcome guests of PREMIER SUITES to join us in becoming more environmentally friendly during their stay and educate them on ways to help. We are continuing to improve our sustainability in 2023 and welcome hints and tips along the way.
PREMIER SUITES Open Day
In September, we were delighted to welcome bookers, guests, and the public to all of our PREMIER SUITES properties for an open day. Each of our apartments in Ireland, The UK and Continental Europe held a fun afternoon with lots of activities, tasty food and drink and prizes to be won in raffles. We wanted to welcome our guests to get to know us a little better while enjoying a treat. Our teams were on hand to show visitors around and allow guests to explore our properties in an informal, fun way. We were delighted with the turnout and response to our open day and plan to host another next year.
Business Travel in 2023
After a couple of years of being trapped in our home offices, we expect to see a big increase in business travel in 2023. Our serviced apartments are happy to welcome corporate travellers and offer the idea flexible accommodation to guests for long or short-term stays. Our serviced apartments offer additional levels of comfort, better space and more facilities than any other form of short-term accommodation and we’re happy to welcome guests for any length of stay from one week to one month plus. We offer exclusive corporate rates to guests who book directly with our team or on our website which also includes free access to our loyalty club where you can earn points and redeem them for discounts and vouchers. We’d like to say a huge thank you to each guest who made 2022 a successful year in all PREMIER SUITES properties.
