Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival 2024 – 28th June 3 nights
If you’re a fan of blues, jazz and Americana, the Bluegrass Festival in Rotterdam is right up your street. Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival 2024 is taking place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June at the Noordplein. You can see 30 acts from home and abroad including Dom Flemons aka The American Songster, the virtuoso Canadians of Slocan Ramblers, Beautiful Folk from Alaska by Annie Bartholomew and The Kody Norris Show. North Sea Jazz Festival 2024 – 12-14th July 2024
One of the most anticipated events in Rotterdam every year is the brilliant North Sea Jazz Festival. More than 150 performances will take place on 12, 13 and 14 July, spread across 16 stages in and around Rotterdam Ahoy. With the addition of 23 more names to the already packed line-up, the NN North Sea Jazz 2024 programme is complete. We’re excited to experience the buzzing atmosphere, enjoy the music and taste some delicious drinks from local vendors selling at the event.
Zomer Karnaval Rotterdam Festival – 26th & 27th July
Taking place in one of the biggest and most popular venues in Rotterdam, Onderzeebootloods, Zomer Karnaval is the biggest Caribbean festival in all of The Netherlands. Every year thousands of people come to Rotterdam to enjoy the Zomercarnaval with something for young and old to enjoy. During the daytime, you can enjoy the Carnival parade but at night the party does not stop. With a fantastic lineup of acts, from music and dance to street performance and art, more than 2.500 dancers, 25 carnival groups and 30 floats the festival is sure to entertain, no matter what you’re looking for.
Crazy, Sexy, Cool – 3rd August
Rotterdam’s most excellent outdoor festival for young, multicultural dance audiences has a catchy and unforgettable name, Crazy Sexy, Cool. In recent years, the music in the nightlife scene has become much more extensive, with many young people preferring to listen to electronic variants of hip-hop. In response to this, the festival plays five different types of music across venues and stages, played by recognised DJs and live performers. It’s a vibrant and exciting festival that must be seen to be experienced. Zuiderpark is the venue and it’s suitable mainly for 18-35 year olds but all are welcome.
CuliNESSE – 22-4th August
One of Rotterdam’s biggest foodies festivals returns in August with plenty of musical and culinary fun in Zevenhuizerplas. CuliNESSE is a three-day festival with a packed musical, culinary and cultural program. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday you can enjoy the best musical artists and the tastiest dishes from well-known restaurants in the region. CuliNESSE is a festival for everyone, all ages are welcome. There will be plenty to eat and drink with some of the finest producers from the region as well as international cuisine, cooking demos and plenty of samples to enjoy.
