Each Year, PREM Group, the parent company of PREMIER SUITES, holds the PREM Ovation Awards to recognise and congratulate our colleagues who have demonstrated excellent leadership, positive attitude, competence, dedication, empathy, understanding, innovation and adaptability – qualities all needed more than ever. On Tuesday, the 17th of May, a group of colleagues gathered for a fantastic lunch in Osprey Hotel Kildare and to recognise each other for the hard work and leadership we’ve embraced in the past year.
Leader of the Year 2021/22
We are delighted that our colleague and operations manager Laura Cvrcek came highly commended in the Leader of the Year category. Leaders are honest, hard-working, and approachable and this is especially true for Laura who spends countless hours taking care of our Dublin property and the team here. Supported by Laura and our wonderful team of hard-working staff we continue to be a good example for businesses and properties across the group ad provide a fantastic customer experience every time.
PREM Ethos Award 2021/22
Not only is Laura one of the great leaders in PREM Group, but she also won the PREM Ethos Award 2021/22, one of the highest accolades of the night. PREM Group’s ethos is “Do The Right Thing”. We believe in doing the right thing at both a commercial and human level. We want PREM Group to be synonymous with quality and innovation. Laura lives the Ethos of “Do The Right Thing” every day, in all of her interactions with colleagues and customers alike. We are proud to have Laura as part of our team and under her leadership continue to thrive as individuals and as a team.
About our Operations Manager Laura Cvrcek
Laura has been working for PREMIER SUITES PLUS Dublin Ballsbridge for over 4 years. Having worked in hospitality since university, Laura loves the hospitality profession, as it provides different challenges and new things to learn and do on a daily basis. When not in work, Laura loves to travel and explore Ireland with her family, taking in the magnificent range of activities and places to see.

PREM Ovation Awards 2022
The PREM Ovation awards were presented by the CEO of PREM Group Jim Murphy and Paul Dempsey, COO of PREM Hospitality Ireland. Colleagues were delighted to meet in person, and many of our colleagues re-connected for the first time in person since March 2020. We welcomed many new team members who had never met face to face and joined old friends for a catch-up.
We were delighted to recognise the hard work of all of our colleagues but particularly 27 award winners across the themes of Ethos, Leadership and General Manager of the Year categories. Team recognition was bestowed to teams across all eight of our Irish properties.
Speaking about the awards, Jim Murphy described the atmosphere felt in the room at both events as uplifting, warm and energetic. ‘PREM Group is all about the team. We are a success because of our people. Looking out at the room at both events and seeing so many people with 10, 15, and 20 years plus service to the company makes me feel very proud. In these times this says a lot about the culture of our organization. That culture is special, unique and the product of the efforts of each and every person within the Group. I congratulate everyone who took home an award today. Thank you for everything you do for the company.’
