PREMIER SUITES are delighted to announce that Vicky Snook, General Manager at our two PREMIER SUITES Bristol locations, has been awarded Champion of The Year in the 2023 ASAP Awards.
It is always an honour to be awarded by one of the leading representative industry bodies, recognising team members who provide guests with the highest standard of service and hospitality in a relaxed, spacious and welcoming environment.
This year’s ASAP awards focused on three pillars – People, Planet and Principles.
Vicky joined our PREMIER SUITES team in 2017 as Sales Manager, and was recently promoted to General Manager in December 2022.
Her attitude and commitment to not only work duties but her local community, charities, and the environment is an inspiration. With so many highlights to cover, we have just some of Vicky’s main achievements below.
Sustainability
Vicky headed up the sustainability movement at both Bristol locations, achieving Green Tourism Accreditation, installing a mini recycling centre and incorporating Fairtrade products into the property.
PS Life
Vicky created Homegrown Greens, an initiative within our PS Life programme.
Vicky puts her green fingers to good use with an ever-growing Homegrown Greens corner, incorporating bird feeders and bee-friendly plants, and invites her guests for themed evenings.
Community
Outside of work, just a couple of examples of the fabulous work she gets involved in within her community include:
- Vicky has been an Olio food waste hero since June 2022, rescuing 7,202 meals destined for waste, sharing with 203 people/families in the community. Vicky said – “I am a food waste hero as I love being able to help the people in my community, especially those that are struggling, the sense of community spirit and the gratefulness of people is overwhelming.”
- Together with her family Vicky also works with the Trussell Trust helping with their local projects such as clearing gardens for the local care home and public spaces.
- Last Christmas, Vicky developed a reverse advent calendar which instead of receiving a gift each day, you give a gift each day – in the form of much needed food for the Trussell Trust. This reverse calendar was adopted by all UK PREMIER SUITES locations.

Excellent sales and Consistently high occupancies throughout her time with PREMIER SUITES.

Team Player
A true team player, Vicky is always looking for ways to bond her team, while also making property enhancements. Allowing her team to spend more time with each other outside of the normal working environment, encouraging them not only to find, but also to rely on, other team members strengths – to work as one.
Vicky inspires our teams to become more passionate, driven and switched on. A pillar of strength for not only the Bristol team, but our band, embodying everything that PREM stands for.
Vicky involves her team in property projects, including the Homegrown greens garden.
