Hourglass project, so called because of the distictive hourglass shape of the new building is being erected within Amsterdam’s main Zuidas business district, just a 10-minute tram ride to central station. The building of the Hourglass
The Hourglass building is set to be one of the most modern and distinctive buildings in Amsterdam and we are delighted to have secured our serviced apartment location here. The Hourglass building on Parnassusweg street has been designed by renowned architects Dam & Partners. Hourglass is a mixed-use building project including multi-tenant offices, as well as 700m2 GFA of retail, catering, a restaurant open to the public and 145 parking spaces. PREMIER SUITES are set to open an impressive 115-room extended stay hotel, catering to the office tenants of the Hourglass and rising demand from the many Dutch and international companies in the Zuidas.
Hourglass will receive a BREEAM Excellent certificate upon completion which evaluates energy efficiency, flexibility, adaptability and user comfort among other important aspects of offices & aparthotels. Our guest’s safety and comfort are our top priority at all times and each suite is designed with the guest in mind. The building has been designed as a Smart Building, one in which temperature control and lighting can be controlled remotely from devices as small as a smartphone.

Our newest PREMIER SUITES is being developed at a prominent location, between the Zuidas and the public transportation, the VU and the medical centre, the VUmc. The Zuidas is in Amsterdam South, just 2 minutes walking to Amsterdam South railway station. We’re also very easily accessible to and from Schiphol Airport, which can be reached by tram in just 10-minutes. For travellers wanting to explore what Amsterdam has to offer, you can reach the city centre, including all of our fantastic attractions, very easily by public transport or by bike. A tram will take less than 10-minutes and a leisurely cycle will take no more than 20-minutes.
