There are ten floors in this magnificent modern facility, each with something different to discover. You’ll find photography exhibitions, performances, craft workshops, poetry readings, coffee mornings, fun sessions for toddlers, and other activities. Lapworth Museum of Geology

One of the oldest specialist geological museums in the UK, the complex reopened after an extensive renovation in 2016. The museum is home to a huge array of fossils and minerals, many of them from the Midlands showing what the region was like millions of years ago. There are displays of beautiful crystals as well as Roary the allosaurus, a saber-tooth tiger, giant ammonites, the Coseley Spider, and Dudley Bug trilobites.
