Day One
After your day of travelling be greeted by the friendly reception team at PREMIER SUITES Amsterdam, as they guide you to your serviced apartment. Here you can unwind, drop your bags, and make use of your living room, fully equipped kitchen and bedroom – your home away from home.
At the hotel’s driveway, take a right for a 2-minute walk to the tram stop and take tram 5 to the Rijksmuseum of Amsterdam.
Only 15 minutes later you arrive at the breath-taking Rijksmuseum building. Declared the most beautiful museum in the world by TripAdvisor, the museum is one of the most famous museum in the world due to famous masterpieces in its collection like the self portrait of Van Gogh, the little street of Vermeer, The Happy Family of Jan Steen and Rembrandts Night Watch. The museum offers workshops, tours and theatre programmes for both locals and tourists.
When leaving the museum head north-east for a scenic walk alongside the beautiful and iconic Amsterdam canals. Amsterdam has over 100 kilometres of canal dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age. These canals create about 90 islands and 1.500 bridges.
These canals are beautiful from the side but the real view you get when watching from in the canal itself. At the end of the walk, you arrive at Flagship Amsterdam where you can hop on a cruise to get the full Amsterdam experience.
Day Two
Just a short walk from our PREMIER SUITES PLUS Amsterdam hotel you can find the Amsterdam forest. The forest is 935 acres large and offers tons of fun activities. Go to the Grote Vijver and rent a canoe or water bike. Follow the purple-coloured poles and explore the Amazon-like forest from the water. There are 3 routes you can follow of 1h, 1,5h and 2h.
After some activity it is time to relax. The Grote Vijver luxury spa has 8 saunas, various baths, attractive relaxation areas, a 40-meter-long swimming pool and a modern wellness hotel.
The daredevils and thrill seekers could visit Europe’s highest swing in the evening at A’DAM lookout. Swing back and forth at 100 metres above the city and let the adrenaline rush through your veins. If you don’t want to go on the swing, there is still an amazing lookout area with a 360° view, panorama restaurant, rooftop bar and much more to finish the day off in style.
