Ruby Hue
Ruby Hue is a bean-to-bar, single origin chocolate maker. They source ethically produced fine cacao from around the world then roast, crack, winnow and stone grind the cacao to make beautiful chocolate all in their little factory and cafe in Finzel’s Reach. They also serve Clifton coffee, Rare Tea Co teas as well as their delicious in house bakes and concoctions.
Mila Plants
MILA Plants is a lgbtq+ owned and runned business selling houseplants, ethical homewares and local artists. Fiercely independent and located on the iconic Park Street, you’ll find us surrounded by other fantastic indie businesses in a vibrant shopping district. As well as MILA they also have their own in-house florist Wonder Flower who makes stunning hand tied bouquets and bunches.

Looking for items with an eye catching aesthetic which are a pleasure to furnish your home with? Fig1 have spent over 10 years collecting the best of contemporary European design and choosing items in which they find joy. Founded in 2007 in a colourful and creative area of Bristol, fig1 is a proudly independent business with a love of design and colour. With a long standing interest in the ethics of business, their collection includes many fairly traded products including products from two of their biggest brands, Rice and Nkuku.
Blaze
Blaze is an artist’s cooperative, run by 10 of the artists who volunteer their time to keep this little, independent shop going. Blaze sells Bristol based artist/makers work, from original paintings, prints, jewellery, pottery and cards. Situated in the “arty” Christmas Steps area of central Bristol. Blaze is a lovely shop full of unusual and sometimes quirky gifts, alongside fragrant oils, candles etc for every budget. They are a friendly bunch ready to welcome you into a calm and relaxed space.
Makers
Makers is one of Bristol’s finest independent Galleries Situated In the heart of the Christmas Steps Arts Quarter. The founders Joanna Boyd and Sarah Salaman have curated an exceptional collection of work from Bristol’s most exciting contemporary artists and makers. Makers Gallery specializes in original art, an impressive selection of limited edition prints, contemporary ceramics and jewellery, original textiles, artisan homeware, and exquisite handmade greetings cards.
Baristas Coffee Collective
Baristas Coffee Collective is a small, independently run coffee shop in the heart of Bristol. They serve their own blend of beans: a dark caramel, buttery roast. You’ll find great coffee and fantastic service from George and his team here.
