Three Days in Glasgow

Day One

These collections include trains, cars, trams and even a world-famous ship model collection and much more. It has over 3,000 objects on display which will surely have something for everyone to look at and appreciate. You can even climb aboard a train, bus, or tram to get the real experience to see what old public transport used to be like. This is an experience like no other and is worth while visiting!

After visiting The Riverside Museum, it is time to hit The West End which is known for its Victorian architecture and the various public parks, gardens and its varied attractions including restaurants and pubs for something to eat! The West End of Glasgow has several known areas each with their own attractions and characteristics to separate one from another. The West End brings fantastic entertainment that includes cinema trips, museums and much more so it is family approved! This is also your chance to explore the unique shopping that Glasgow’s West End has in store for you. It has the largest collection of unique and original traders in the area. Most of all take this chance to grab something to eat. The West End has some amazing food ranging from Italian, Indian to Chinese Dining to even Vietnamese, Belgian or Spanish cuisine so this is the perfect chance to try something different and enjoy the amazing food The West End provides.

After all the trips for today, head back to your luxurious suite and it’s time to enjoy the spacious apartment and enjoy the best sleep you will ever have in our beds. It will be a deep sleep like never before.

Day Two

It’s day 2 and it is time to discover more of Glasgow and what it has to offer. On a beautiful sunny day in Glasgow, it is best recommended to visit the city’s Botanic Gardens. The Botanic Gardens which are in the West End of Glasgow is also managed by Glasgow City Council and it is well known to be one of the finest gardens in Glasgow which also of recent has restored Kibble Palace which houses the national collection of tree ferns. Plants from the tropical rainforests would grow in the Kibble Palace just to give you an idea what to expect from this magical place. There are over 9000 different plants to discover and learn about so there is something for everyone to be amazed at. With also having over 20 hectares of landscape grounds.

After visiting such a magnificent place, The Huntarian Art Gallery is the next place for all those lovers of art and culture. The Huntarian Art Gallery has over 900 paintings which out of them 190 are displayed in the gallery. It is also home to the world’s permanent display of the work of James McNeill Whistler and the largest single holding of the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and The Mackintosh House.

After visiting possibly, a once in a lift time art gallery such as the Huntarian Art Gallery, head back to your luxurious serviced apartment and cook dinner up with your fully kitted kitchen in the apartment. Grab some groceries from the supermarket which are all walking distance and cook something special. After that, run into the comfiest bed and fall asleep in seconds to prepare your self for the final day.

Day Three

Start your final day with some breakfast in your fully kitted kitchen and plan for your final day. To start things off, we will be visiting malt whiskey at Clydeside Distillery. The Clydeside Distillery has become one of the first new distilleries to operate in Glasgow, when it started running recently in 2017. There is so much to learn about the distillery ranging from how they handcraft their spirits and get the chance to take part in the whisky tasting experience. You will also get the chance to taste 10-year-old Single Malt Whiskies which is a unique experience. Did I mention also that there is a Chocolate & Whiskey tour that you can take? You will experience sublime chocolate paired with excellent whiskeys to achieve full sensations and a burst of exquisite flavours. It is now opened for tours so head on over and experience various whiskeys and chocolates like no other place has ever offered before.

After tasting some delicious chocolates and experience some of the finest whiskey’s, it is time to visit the Glasgow Science Centre. There is a huge range of learning experiences you can have at the Glasgow Science Centre. While you are there, check out the science theatre which has regular lectures and talks held there. Maybe something to keep note off, ask about the Glasgow Tower. It is rarely opened but it is claimed to be the world’s tallest freely rotating tower.
